Dust control
Air humidification that is optimally tailored to the process reduces dust turbulence, increases productivity and improves product quality. The smallest dust particles are bound by micro-fine
water molecules, thus significantly reducing airborne dust and dust deposits on machines and products.
Dust has a negative electrical charge, while water mist is positive when it is nebulized.
Binding forces arise. The diffusion of the water mist prevents the spread of dust in the room and the increase in humidity significantly reduces dust turbulence.
Odor development
Unpleasant odors caused by gases or harmful microorganisms can also be aggravated by binding with the water mist and thus significantly reduced.
Electrostatic and dust formation
With optimal humidity, the electrostatic charge is significantly reduced and thus prevents an uncontrolled discharge. In a very dusty environment, an electrostatic discharge could lead to
deflagration or, depending on the dust load, to explosions and fires.
With the right room air humidity, this risk is significantly reduced.
